Using the Web Service API, external applications can program memoQ server to manage projects, documents, and resources in an automated way. Well-known project management products – such as Plunet – use the Web Service API to integrate the functionality of memoQ server.
memoQ server Resources API
Through the Resources API, external applications can query and update translation memories or term bases on memoQ server. The first application is memoQ\’s own memoQ TM plugin that integrates into Trados Studio.

Machine Translation SDK
The Machine Translation SDK allows developers to connect new machine translation engines to memoQ. These extensions work in the memoQ desktop program only, not on the server.
Preview SDK
The Preview SDK enables third parties to develop custom translation previews. The SDK provides notifications about events in the software that are relevant for changing the live preview of a document. This allows developing external preview tools for specific formats. The latest version had been released with memoQ 9.1.
Quality Assurance SDK
The QA SDK allows developers to create Quality Assurance extensions for memoQ’s QA modules. With the QA SDK, you can extend the Quality Assurance functionality of the memoQ desktop program (not memoQ server or memoQWebTrans).
